About Agnes

From learner to teacher

I’m Agnes Laszlo. Since 2007 I have been a fully qualified and experienced German teacher, translator and interpreter.

Part of my studies were in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, where I lived for a time. I was not born into a German-speaking family, so I learned German the way most of my students do. That gives me real insight into the problems and frustrations learners face—and it drives me to teach with clarity and patience.

Through my studies and years of practice I’ve built a deep understanding of German grammar and structure—the kind of explicit knowledge that many native speakers feel intuitively but find hard to explain.

How I teach

My lessons are structured, warm, and practical. Whether you’re starting from zero, preparing for an exam, or polishing professional German, we’ll build a plan that fits your life—not a one-size-fits-all course.
